Hello You Beautiful World! The official first day of winter is on saturday but this glorious snowy weather has inspired me to introduce you to..the one..the only..Old Man Winter! This is the 3rd and final segment of my Great Canadian Winter themed makeup extravaganza. I know we see Old Man Winter as a grumpy old fart but hey, he’s just a metaphor, so give the guy a break.

Thank you for reading! If you too would like a chance to win some luxury makeup from Shiseido Canada (Twitter: @Shiseido_Canada), follow Dave Lackie on Twitter, @davelackie. I’ll leave you with a link to my newly updated IMDb page! Here you can see some of the new shows I’ve worked on. There’s more makeup adventures where that came from so stay tuuuuned.

Cheers,

Sarah♥

The eyeshadows are strongly pigmented when you first apply and they blend out nice & softly. I used the gold colour on the mobile lid and blended up to the crease. Then I applied the dusty rose colour in the crease and blended upwards. And of course the frosty white colour I used as a highlight on the brow bone, inner corner of the eyes, and also a little on top of the cheekbones! I did use a little bit of the darkest brow powder in my brows. But the lighter brow powder I used like an eyeliner, along my top lash line and a little on the bottom lash line.

The lipstick is awesome, I’ve been wanting a colour like this! It’s bold colour which I love, and pink is so in style right now for winter, you can’t go wrong. And what else is awesome, it doesn’t taste like anything! I don’t mind when there’s a vanilla flavour in lipstick/gloss but I know some people hate that. Especially when lipstick tastes and smells oddly like baby powder or chemicals or something nasty ya knooooow! But this Shiseido Perfect Rouge lipstick is all about colour, no funny business here! There is a bit of a shimmery glossiness to it but I added a little extra gloss just to add more juiciness.

Hello You Beautiful World! This week I won a fantastic prize on Twitter from Dave Lackie & Shiseido Canada. I got some beautiful shimmery eyeshadows, eyebrow shaping colours, and this lush hot pink lipstick! And I love the brushes that come with the compact powders. I don’t mind sponge applicators but it is a lot easier to blend with these lovely natural hair brushes.

Happy Halloween, You Beautiful World! If you don’t want to go all out with your costume, why not utilize what you already have by playing with makeup! This year I created a quick skully makeup using a free sample of Make-Up Forever waterproof cream eyeshadow! Have a great ghoulish evening and stay tuuuuuned. And as always, thank you for reading!
